Welcome

Welcome to our Bethesda family. There are a lot of great churches here in our community, so we don’t take lightly that you have chosen to drop in and check us out. We are certainly not a perfect church, but we have discovered that we are the perfect church for some people. Furthermore, we believe that God has placed us here for such a time as this and with great purpose. If God would allow you to join up with His purposes for our Bethesda family, we welcome you to join us. Welcome Home.

Our Story

Worship Encounters

Worship

One of the greatest rewards of a follower of Christ is the opportunity to worship God. Worship is to the follower of Christ what air is to mankind-essential. Music plays a vital role in our worship at BWC. Therefore, you will notice a nice mixture of Praise and Worship expressed in the singing of your favorite hymns, contemporary worship choruses and special singing. Our worship is expressed in a variety of different ways which include singing, dancing, crying, praying, giving, raising and clapping our hands, bowing down on our knees, the playing of musical instruments and the list goes on and on. One thing for certain, people will worship differently, and here at  Bethesda we simply want to encourage each individual to worship God as the Holy Spirit leads them. The following will help you understand why and how we worship the way we do.

Prayer

Prayer is the fuel that propels any individual, any ministry, or any church. We believe that anyone can pray. It is so simple that even a child can do it. Yet we know the power of our prayers. Adrian Rogers said “Prayer can do anything God can do and God can do anything.” At Bethesda we offer weekly small group prayer times, a prayer team to pray with you at our Worship Encounters and an active One Call Prayer Ministry. Please let us know how we may serve you through the powerful ministry of prayer.

Kids

OUR WIN. It’s hard sometimes to know when you’re winning in children’s ministry, you know? Like, is anything we’re teaching actually sinking in? Are kids really growing in their faith? That’s why we decided to go ahead and define the big win for our ministry. It’s the one thing that we, as a ministry team, want to achieve. It’s the goal we want to keep in mind at all times. And it’s what motivates and guides everything we do. It goes like this . . .

WE WIN WHEN A KID
TAKES A STEP TOWARD
OWNING THEIR FAITH.

OWNING THEIR FAITH: SPEND TIME WITH GOD, SPEND TIME WITH OTHERS, USE THEIR GIFTS, SHARE THEIR STORY.
