Our greeters and coffee hosts are the first people our guests see at Bethesda. Their smiles and warm welcomes are essential in making each one feel welcome. Preparing coffee, handing out bulletins and candy are the primary responsibilities of this ministry.
Bethesda is active in serving various organizations throughout each month. From holding services at Westview to serving the staff and students at Woodland Park School. These individuals are vital to developing relationships in our community.
This team fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, unlocking doors, locking doors, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. This group is comprised of men and women who have hearts to serve and are integral to Bethesda life.
Here at Bethesda Worship Center (BWC), we LOVE KIDS & STUDENTS!!! We have a heart to see kids grow in the knowledge of God and their faith! We provide great take-home material for you (the parent/guardian) to help you with your busy schedule and give you something easy to go over with your child. We use a mix of the “Orange” curriculum, by ReThink Group and Grow Curriculum, by Stiff You Can Use. These are great bible-based curriculums, to help your student grow through their phases.
Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of our church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. The sound team is one of the most important parts in our effort to accomplish excellence in each service. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in audio format. We also maintain an active Facebook for additional church communication.
God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.
Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday, during the morning service, a team of volunteers are praying for the ministry of the Word. They also assist the Pastor by praying with individuals as needed. Throughout the week, volunteers from our Prayer Warriors team pray for their pastor, a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs.
